What comes to mind immediately when you think of Russia? Vodka, bears, Putin... Moscow, Saint Petersburg and probably a lot of nothing everywhere else. But the trip to Kazan will prove that Russia is so much more than just a set of these stereotypes!

Kazan is the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan and is considered to be the 'third capital' of Russia as well as its 'sports capital'. This is a place where different cultures and peoples have always been closely intertwined, but have always managed to benefit from cultural diversity rather than be afraid of it. So ESNish, isn't it? :)

It's extremely hard to describe what the city's like - you just need to see and feel it yourself. Lots of sightseeing and partying, traditional Tatar and Russian cuisine, mosques and churches, museums and even open-air exhibits... No matter what your interests are, Kazan has something to mesmerize everyone!

The cost of the ticket is 5100 RUB if you pay till Tuesday; 5300 RUB if you pay on Wednesday and Thursday.

If you feel like going, please pay for the trip ASAP, as the number of places is limited (36 people):
